This wonderful and powerful MAP vitamin C serum is a very potent 15% strength, which is THREE TIMES as potent as most other MAP products on the market today. It's non-irritating, paraben free, and non-comedogenic.
More About MAP (Magnesuim Ascorbyl Phosphate) Vitamin C
MAP is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C that is rapidly gaining popularity in skin care. It’s stand-out features are that it’s non-irritating, and it’s more stable than L-ascorbic acid. Research is also finding that it appears to be just as effective as ascorbic acid in the stimulation of collagen production.
Overall, MAP appears to be a better choice than L-ascorbic acid vitamin C for people with sensitive skin and those wishing to avoid any concomitant exfoliating effects. Other vitamin C formulas can be highly acidic and therefore produce exfoliation.
MAP vitamin C has been widely used in various cosmetics and quasi-drugs because of its advantageous properties such as inhibitory effects on melanogenesis, promotion of collagen synthesis, and prevention of lipid peroxidation. MAP plays an important role in preventing dry skin, sunburn, chloasma and ephelides, and in keeping the skin healthy and young. MAP is a phosphate ester, therefore, it is easily hydrolyzed to ascorbic acid in the skin by enzymes (phosphatase), and it shows physiological and pharmacological activities.
A higher priced active ingredient, but in this case, we feel it is definitely worth the additional cost.

This Vitamin C serum is very good for my skin. I suffer from sun burns on my face so this really helps my skin.
I had a bad itchy rash break out from another product. Looked on line and read that vitamin magnesium C was the best for sensitive skin. I’ve been using various types of vita C on my face for yrs due to light skin sun damage. It’s kept my skin healthier and younger and helped lower skin damage ,cancer , from my face. This product of magnesium c really helps and I have no rash or break outs with it. I highly recommend if you have sensitive sun damage skin.
I switched to this magnesium vita C because I have had a facial skin break out from some men’s facial product and I need to start using a product which would help repair sun damage and was good for a man sensitive skin problems. I had been using a vitamin C serum of another brand ,several actually, but was not magnesium C and I was more sensitive to other types of Vitamin C serums. My skin looks better and younger on this serum and no skin break out.
I love that this product works so well and is also affordable
So far so good. Using about 1 week. I have sun damage skin on my face. Told to Use vitamin C serum from an expert aesthetician. The MAP serum seems to work on my extra sensitive facial skin. Other vitamin C such as ascorbic acid types serum seem to have a rash reaction.
