This particular type of professional file is meant to work on skin that has been soaking, so using it at the end of a shower or bath is perfect. It is not a "sanding" type of file though, so it will not work on dry skin. When skin absorbs water it becomes soft and easily removable. The special texture of the file very efficiently removes the dead skin cells on the surface, but without damaging the living skin. This not only works amazingly well, but it also helps prevent injury to the living skin. We think you will be amazed at the results!
