Aqua (Deionized Water), Hamamelis Virginiana Water (Witch Hazel), Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Salix Alba Bark Extract (Salicylic), Colloidal Silver, Organic Gotu Kola Extract, Horsetail Extract, Wild Geranium Extract, Organic Dandelion Extract, Eugenia Caryophyllus Bud Oil (Clove Bud), Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol.

Apply a very thin layer of gel (a little goes a long way) to entire area to be treated, which could include a current breakout that you are trying to reduce, or simply an area that is prone to breakouts for prevention.

 

To prevent shaving bumps, or bumps after waxing, apply a thin layer immediately (or at least within a few hours) after hair removal. Can be used twice a day, for the first couple days. Adjust application frequency, depending on individual needs: use as little as a few times a week, up to once or twice a day for more severe cases. If skin becomes dry, reduce application frequency. 

 

Note: Some might experience an initial increase of acne at first, as the pores start to clear out of the sebum that is backed up in the pores. It is important to note that this is not new acne, but rather acne that was already there, festering, and is now being forced out early. Please know that this is only temporary, and once it's clear, you can start to enjoy a new complexion! Also, taking a "B5 Complex" daily vitamin can also help boost results, as it works from the inside-out.

 

Tips: While using the Salicylic Gel, it is not necessary, or recommended, to use any other Salicylic products, including the Babyface Salicylic Wash. Too much can cause dryness, and it doesn’t help clear up breakouts any faster to use more. Once breakouts are under control, it is recommended to back off the gel and use the gentler Babyface Salicylic Wash for daily maintenance. An acne-friendly or oil free moisturizer can be applied over the gel if desired. Also, if your skin is sensitive, you can apply the gel, let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with tepid water and gently pat dry. For those looking to completely resurface, or if you have used 2% without any success and have a very stubborn case of acne, the 30% Salicylic Acid Chemical Peel might be the next thing for you to consider.
