What is Tranexamic Topical Acid?
A synthetic derivative of the amino acid lysine, tranexamic is described by the skincare wizzes at SkinCeuticals as "a powerful ingredient recognized for its ability to brighten skin complexion and improve the appearance of discoloration."
What is Bearberry Extract?
Bearberry has been shown to be quite effective at lightening skin pigment imperfections such as age spots, sun spots, Melasma, and blotchy skin tone for a more uniform, brighter complexion. Bearberry also increases the cell turnover rate and it is packed with antioxidants.
What is Licorice?
The primary way in which licorice effects skin whitening is through suppressing the overproduction of melanin by skin cells. In doing this, the herb helps prevent skin cells from producing excess melanin in the face of injury, abrasion, and scar formation which create dark spots or an uneven skin tone. Licorice also protects the skin from harmful and usually skin tone damaging UV radiation.

Formulated to improve the appearance of skin many different types darkening; age spots, sun spots, prolonged micro-injuries such as excessive sun exposure, and friction darkening such as shaved areas and underarms, knees, elbows and even intimate areas. This complex formula can also help reduce the appearance of age spots, scarring, and discoloration.
More than just a lightening serum, this is a full-service regeneration serum. Hyaluronic acid plumps up dry, parched skin, plant extracts feed and nourish the skin, natural skin brighteners help to correct photo-damage and skin tone imperfections, and glycolic smooths the skin's surface, assists with new cell turnover and boosts your skin lightening results.
Usage: Apply serum to face, neck, chest or other areas with sun damage, such as back of hands or forearms. Apply once or twice daily, under serums or lotions. Exfoliate at least once a week to remove dead skin build-up and improve product penetration. Also recommended for areas with darker pigment due to friction or thicker skin, such as shaved areas like the face or underarms, as well as elbows & knees.
Don't forget to apply sunblock daily to protect your lightening results.Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

United StatesI have been using this product for a solid week and so far, I LOVE IT! It’s smooth, fast absorbing and non sticky. My pores are liking it. As far as lightening, I’m not sure yet but I have a good feeling. Check back in three weeks. I want to try other products when I can afford them. :)
United StatesThis is one of those products that take a while to see results. I am trying to get the sunspots off my arms so I can wear short sleeves this summer. I am on my second bottle and the spots are getting lighter, just not as fast as hoped, but will hang in there with hopes that we will get there soon. I do think the product will work, just not as fast as I want.
Skin lightening happens over time, as the skin renews itself, there will be less pigment. Dedication will pay off though! :) Exfoliating regularly can help the process, and always remember to wear sunscreen on the area you are treating.

United StatesI am a skin care advocate and am always looking into the best ingredients to incorporate into skin care and which products house that. For people of color, the search becomes more targeted. While looking for bearberry extract and licorice extract separately as being go-to items for hyperpigmentation for skin of color among other more common items, I was excited to come across your lightening serum not only having those two extracts combine in one product but also having other excellent powerhouse ingredients incorporated for a proper balance. I am on my second bottle and noticed that it halts the progression of new hyperpigmentation that I may exhibit from a blemish, irritation, or damage. I use it as a body serum as well as a facial serum and it is so lightweight. Results of course very accordingly so I use as part of my regimen which is good for treatment and prevention. So far I am pleased with the product.
