How this Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) Serum Works to Fight Acne
Vitamin B5 creates high amounts of Coenzyme-A, which metabolises fats like those from overproduction of oil – which get deposited in your sebaceous (oil) glands and sebum (the stuff that clogs pores). The p.acne bacteria feeds off of this sebum, and creates acne. With all of this extra Coenzyme-A, these fats can be broken down and the results would then be non-oily skin. With a minimal amount of oil on your skin, no acne is produced. Compared to the prescription acne medicine Accutane – which also minimizes oil production but it does so by shrinking your oil glands – B5 is a much healthier, natural option.
The B5 serum doesn’t need to shrink your oil glands, because it causes there to not be oil there in the first place. An extra bonus from a B5 serum is that by reducing the pore-clogging gunk, the pores will naturally start to tighten up on their own, resulting in smaller pores.
