Wake up to glowing skin every day! This is a very effective Retinol, without the irritation. Promotes new cell turnover, moisture retention, and stimulates new collagen production. A must-have for aging skin.
What it is:
An intensive overnight microencapsulated Retinol cream that supports the four essential building blocks of healthy skin appearance: Proteins, micronutrients, water and lipids.
This superior Retinol also helps to improve cell turnover, visibly enhancing skin firmness and elasticity and diminishing the look of lines and wrinkles.
What Microencapsulated Retinol does:
Should you consider using a Retinol cream?
Yes! It’s hands down one of the best known anti-aging products available and is considered an industry Gold Standard as it pertains to anti-aging ingredients.
After decades of research, vitamin A has been shown in studies as one of the most, if not the most, effective ingredient for turning around aging skin. It has been proven to smooth fine lines, fade age spots, correct a blotchy skin tone, reduce pore size, and even remedy some types of acne. Unfortunately, prescription vitamin A derivatives cause so much irritation that most people give up using them before they ever have a chance to do their magic…..
To those people we say, why not give Babyface’s Night Renewal Cream a try!
Non-prescription, no irritation, yet still highly effective with daily use. Encapsulated for slow release and preserved effectiveness, it is less irritating and more effective than lower quality vitamin A derivatives (largely what most products on the market today contain) and a a great alternative to prescription retinoids like Retin-A.
All vitamin A derivatives must convert to retinoic acid in the skin. Their effectiveness depends highly on stability, and the number of conversion steps. Our pure Retinol is partially converted already, so you are getting a far superior ingredient than what is typically used in retinol creams – which takes much longer to convert.
Our effective formula was created to be a practical product that you can use daily. While not as fast acting as a prescription cream, the microencapsulated Retinol in Night Renewal Cream is definitely a great option to expensive Retinoids. Compared to Retin-A, which usually produces results in about 4-8 weeks, the Night Renewal Cream is around 12 weeks.
What is Vitamin A? What does it do?
Vitamin A and its derivatives unclog pores, stimulate collagen production to reduce fine lines, and boost cell turnover to even out discoloration and give the skin a smoother appearance. Depending on the strength used, results can be seen as soon as four weeks. The first prescription retinoid (branded Retin-A) was first used about 40 years ago as a prescription acne treatment. Patients soon were delighted to discover that when using it they experienced not just clearer but softer, brighter, less-lined skin.
While prescription formulas yield the most impressive results, there is also the downside of skin irritation. Some experience more than others, but if you are one of those who just can’t deal with the red, itchy, constantly flaking skin – the Babyface Night Renewal Cream is a great option, and can also improve lines and discoloration, or as an acne treatment.
Will it make my skin sun-sensitive?
This is one of the biggest vitamin A myths. The ingredient itself is sensitive to sunlight, which is why you should apply it before bed at night, but using a vitamin A product (prescription or non-prescription) shouldn’t make your skin any more vulnerable to UV rays than it would be after buffing away dead skin with a face scrub.
Summer is actually a good time to start a vitamin A; humidity makes skin less likely to dry out as it adjusts. Of course, getting in the habit of using sunscreen (SPF 30, at least) is always recommended, and is our #1 advice for those wishing to avoid premature aging.
Usage: At night, apply 2 pumps of cream to the face after cleansing, toning and applying serums. Some initial dryness or irritation may occur, reduce usage to every other day if needed. Avoid getting in eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.

My favorite face lotion. Helps reduce acne and it is very light (not greasy). The price is also extremely reasonable.
I just reordered this. It's the best retinol product I've tried. No irritation at all. Just feels rich and creamy going on at night and everything looks better in the morning,
I have dry skin but prone to whiteheads and milia. This is the only product that provides skin comfort for dry skin without the oils that cause whiteheads and milia.
Adore this product! It works summer in heavy humidity without breakouts, winter in super dry air. Not greasy, doesn't create blackheads nor have I experienced irritation after a peel and my skin is very sensitive. I highly recommend this product.
I find this Retinol Cream is even better than Paula's Choice! I had faithfully been purchasing Paula's Choice Retinol Cream for 54.00 a whack! I decided to give Babyface a chance as it was less expensive and appeared to have better ingredients. I saw a difference in my complexion from the very first application!!! I have been using the Babyface Retinol cream for about 4 months, now! I am very pleased with my results!
