Extremely potent and effective, this formula is like getting several serums in one! An impressive blend of L Ascorbic with Ferulic Acid + vitamin E, it also contains added anti-aging powerhouse ingredients like EGF, Matrixyl 3000, Amino Acids, CoQ10 and Resveratrol.
**NOTE: Updated Formula - Same great active ingredients! **
What to expect: Serum is now clear, no color. Vitamin C serums with a yellow tint can sometimes be mistaken for oxidation, so our serum will no longer have any color to it. Also note a lighter scent. This serum never contained perfumes, but it had a strong ingredient scent that bothered some users, so that has been reduced as well.

About This Product:
Definitely NOT your "average" vitamin C serum!
Babyface’s Super C 20% Vitamin CEF serum is quite simply the best c serum you can buy. Compare to serums costing hundreds per ounce, it is so packed with actives it's like getting several serums in one.
Micro-encapsulation gives this serum a longer shelf life compared to other c-serums, and helps prevent oxidation. Extremely potent and effective, consisting of almost 100% actives, it restores and protects skin and is an effective anti-aging treatment.
An impressive blend of L Ascorbic with Ferulic Acid + vitamin E, it also contains added anti-aging powerhouse ingredients like EGF for rapid repair (Epidermal Growth Factor – the active ingredient found in skin care serums costing hundreds per ounce), Matrixyl 3000 and Amino Acids for collagen boosting, CoQ10 and Resveratrol.
Yes, it’s pretty amazing!
Features:
.
Vitamin C (and it’s derivatives) benefits skin in two important ways:
First, it’s essential for the synthesis of collagen, a key structural protein of the skin. Adding a vitamin C to skin cell cultures dramatically increases the synthesis of collagen.
Second, vitamin C is a super-powerful antioxidant and can help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals break down collagen, the “glue” that holds skin together, makes it firm, and preserves it’s wrinkle-free quality for as long as possible.
Collagen gives the skin resilience, lessening the likelihood of wrinkles. In the worst cases, free radicals can run amuck and permanently damage skin cells, causing blotches, or even skin cancer.
As a potent antioxidant, vitamin C also appears to prevent sun damage, even after sun exposure. Because vitamin C helps break the chain of destruction caused by the sun-induced free radicals, this vitamin helps to halt, or slow, skin damage.
In addition, because vitamin C is absorbed into your skin, neither water activities nor perspiration can wash it off. When vitamin C is properly delivered into skin cells, there is a good chance to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture. Studies have proven that Vitamin C helps to minimize fine lines, scars, and wrinkles. It is also a natural skin brightener and lightener and will reduce uneven pigment (sun spots, age spots, liver spots, melasma) by inhibiting melanin production.
Usage: Apply once every 24 hours, can be applied am or pm. Shake gently to mix and dispense 1 pump for face, 1 pump for neck, 1 more pump for chest. Apply to freshly cleansed skin before any other serums or creams. For best results, use in combination with Babyface’s Super C Facial Wash, and follow with our Super C Moisturizer.

This is the go-to Vitamin C Product for me, I make sure that I don't run out. It's that essential! Not only do you get the terrific Vitamin C itself which is great, but the added ingredients really make a difference as well. I live in Canada and wish I didn't have to pay shipping , That's the only downside!
I have used this serum for sometime now and find it very hydrating, especially in the morning before applying daytime moisturizer. My skin loves it!
A permanent staple in my daily routine. Just had my 72nd birthday and people were surprised when I told them how old I was. My new physician had to check my chart
So I was told that the reformulation was made to due to a packaging issue. Apparently people complained of their product leaking, never happened to me before. Ironically, this is first and only time I’ve had this issue since the reformulation. And since I’ve had this new formula I find that my bottle leaks repeatedly after fastening the cap tightly shut. When it does, it tends to crystallize very rapidly. Because of this, my product has expired prematurely. I don’t plan on repurchasing this product anymore and I say this was sadness because I truly LOVED THIS product. It doesn’t compare to other L-Ascorbic acid serums. It isn’t because of the continuous packing flaw but more so because of the formula itself. For those of you who never experienced the old formula let me tell you. The old formula made the serum smell just like an orange (they didn’t add any fragrance)- I don’t know how they did it but they did. But more importantly the old formula had a nice slip to the skin, spread easily. What really bothers me most about this product is that I find it to be sticky, tacky. I’ve tried different methods of application, water first let that sink in and then apply the product seems to work best but even as it dries I can feel it grip to my skin and not in a good way, feel uncomfortable. I have try skin btw but even then I do really good job of hydrating my skin so I thought that might be a factor but I haven’t been able to find a solution to this. I’ve tried applying over moisturizer even though it wouldn’t be as smart to do so for results and even that doesn’t help. The tackiness makes it somewhat difficult to spread across my skin. I’m throwing in the towel with this one. Other than that this serum still gives of great results just as the old version. Brightening (not lighting) and firming for the skin. Got rid of my throat/forehead lines (and I’M 23!)
Hi William, Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We're really sorry to hear of the issues you had with leaking -- this was the first we've heard of it with the new version, so we will definitely address that. As well, we will be passing your comments on to our chemist about the texture issues you mention. Feedback from our customers is so important, and we don't take it for granted. Since the user experience can vary from person to person, it's always helpful to get as much feedback as possible so we can make the products applicable to as many people as possible.
This is a new AOX serum to my routine and I love it. It contains micro-encapsulated Vitamin C, so it's shelf stable, plus Vitamin E+Ferulic, EGF and Matrixyl 3000. It doesn't smell like hot dog water. It's a powerhouse of great ingredients in one serum. I plan on repurchasing it.
