This wonderful and powerful MAP vitamin C serum is a very potent 15% strength, which is THREE TIMES as potent as most other MAP products on the market today. It's non-irritating, paraben free, and non-comedogenic.
More About MAP (Magnesuim Ascorbyl Phosphate) Vitamin C
MAP is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C that is rapidly gaining popularity in skin care. It’s stand-out features are that it’s non-irritating, and it’s more stable than L-ascorbic acid. Research is also finding that it appears to be just as effective as ascorbic acid in the stimulation of collagen production.
Overall, MAP appears to be a better choice than L-ascorbic acid vitamin C for people with sensitive skin and those wishing to avoid any concomitant exfoliating effects. Other vitamin C formulas can be highly acidic and therefore produce exfoliation.
MAP vitamin C has been widely used in various cosmetics and quasi-drugs because of its advantageous properties such as inhibitory effects on melanogenesis, promotion of collagen synthesis, and prevention of lipid peroxidation. MAP plays an important role in preventing dry skin, sunburn, chloasma and ephelides, and in keeping the skin healthy and young. MAP is a phosphate ester, therefore, it is easily hydrolyzed to ascorbic acid in the skin by enzymes (phosphatase), and it shows physiological and pharmacological activities.
A higher priced active ingredient, but in this case, we feel it is definitely worth the additional cost.

My skin is brighter and more even within the first month of consistent usage. Non-sticky and absorbs quickly. Creamy, off white consistency. Need to be followed up with serums since it is a bit drying. Did not oxidize in 5 months with daily usage (1.3 oz). This is a staple in my routine.
You may have a little bit of dried product inside the spout? This could make dispensing a little "off." You can run the cap under cool/warm water for a few seconds and it should remedy that.
Consistency is okay; bottle is kind of weird and product squirts out every time...so you have to almost catch it or spray it in the area you want it or you might lose lots of product each time. Product arrived on time.
Love Babyface products.
I've been using this several months now after hearing about MAP as a good, non-irritating vitamin C treatment. It works just as well, if not better, than Retin-A, and without the irritation. Between this and using a gentle exfoliating cloth every time I wash my face, my skin looks clear, spotless, with minimal wrinkles. In fact a small scar I had before using this is now virtually invisible. It did take my skin a little time to adjust, and it can be slightly drying if you overuse it. I currently use it only at night, along with a moisturizer, and as someone who is constantly trying new products, I don't see myself switching anytime soon.
