This wonderful and powerful MAP vitamin C serum is a very potent 15% strength, which is THREE TIMES as potent as most other MAP products on the market today. It's non-irritating, paraben free, and non-comedogenic.
More About MAP (Magnesuim Ascorbyl Phosphate) Vitamin C
MAP is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C that is rapidly gaining popularity in skin care. It’s stand-out features are that it’s non-irritating, and it’s more stable than L-ascorbic acid. Research is also finding that it appears to be just as effective as ascorbic acid in the stimulation of collagen production.
Overall, MAP appears to be a better choice than L-ascorbic acid vitamin C for people with sensitive skin and those wishing to avoid any concomitant exfoliating effects. Other vitamin C formulas can be highly acidic and therefore produce exfoliation.
MAP vitamin C has been widely used in various cosmetics and quasi-drugs because of its advantageous properties such as inhibitory effects on melanogenesis, promotion of collagen synthesis, and prevention of lipid peroxidation. MAP plays an important role in preventing dry skin, sunburn, chloasma and ephelides, and in keeping the skin healthy and young. MAP is a phosphate ester, therefore, it is easily hydrolyzed to ascorbic acid in the skin by enzymes (phosphatase), and it shows physiological and pharmacological activities.
A higher priced active ingredient, but in this case, we feel it is definitely worth the additional cost.

I use this product as part of my night routine, I like it and I have no problems with it!
I love this MAP serum!!! I have sensitive skin, and I have not had one single problem…no redness, no irritation, and it’s alredy giving me some really great results! My skin is clearer and brighter…thank you!!!!!
First of all I would like to say how fast I received my product. I purchased this product for my hyperpigmentation around the mouth area, I’m loving the results so far. I use this in the AM after toning following through with a fragrance free moisturizer & spf cream, and at night with my layering routine for hyperpigmentation. I feel like the information I received on how to “properly” layer my serums ( double cleanse, use alcohol free toner, water based serums come 1st, use MAP serum, actives, then moisturize) works best for my skin, thank you for this product.
I’ve only had this serum for a couple weeks, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness. But I really dislike how this dries down. Initially it feels really soft and hydrating going on my skin. But then it soaks in really fast and drys down to a really sticky/tight feeling in my face. I feel like I can’t later any other serums with it because I need a moisturizer ASAP. It also causes piling when I apply my moisturizer on top. Kinda disappointed.
There are a few reasons why products will pill up. From the sound of your skin's reaction, I would guess it's that too much is being applied. This should not feel sticky after it dries. And even though MAP is a gentler form of vitamin C, it is still vitamin C and can be drying - especially if your skin is dry already. Applying a moisturizer on top should balance things out. Also, try applying to damp skin to enhance penetration. But if you feel sticky after it dries, definitely reduce the amount being used.
The shipping was speedy!! I’ve only used it for 3 days so I can’t comment on how it performs. So far I’m liking it though. It’s not sticky and fully absorbes. I got it as I heard good things about it! I’ve literally tried every vitamin C out there. I’m so over the oxidation factor I hope this one won’t
You have definitely found the right product, Cathie! Our Super-C Serum is encapsulated, which protects it from oxidation much longer than traditional c serums. Ours has an extremely long shelf life. You will use it up long before it will oxidize. :)
