Recommended Usage: Can be applied once or twice a day, but for best results we recommend twice daily application. Typical application routine would be to apply at bedtime, then again in the morning after washing hair. Apply directly onto scalp at the area to be treated and massage gently into the scalp. Applying to damp skin will help with penetration, but it is not necessary.

I know this product has been helping with hair breakage.
I've always had fine hair and have had problems with thinning on top for several years. Rogaine works well, but I'm trying to get away from as many chemicals as possible (the liquid version is in propylene glycol... antifreeze!), so I figured I would try this. I've been using it about 4 months as I know it takes time to see results. I do believe it's working and will continue to use it. More specific instructions would be helpful... like how many sprays per area, etc. I put it on once per day after I shower and massage in.
Hi Michelle, Applying directly to the scalp and gently massaging it in is recommended. The best results would be with a twice daily application, if that works with your schedule. You could apply at night, then again in the morning after showering. Consistency is key though, so whether it's once or twice daily, as long as you are consistent you can expect results.
