Toning is an important step in any serious skin care regime, and it can often be overlooked. For those especially with sensitive or reactive skin, toners help the skin by balancing the pH. For acne prone skin, toners help minimize the look of pores, and assist in removing residuals missed during cleansing. It's beneficial for all in preparing the skin to receive the serums and moisturizers to come.
After cleansing face, apply a moderate amount of toner with fingers or a cotton ball and gently apply all over the face in upward motions. Allow to dry, and follow with a serum and moisturize (if used).

United StatesThis was my first purchase of magical sea toner. I usually use antiox gel toner. Both are excellent products however the magical sea toner seems to be more hydrating and silky on the skin. I will reccomend and purchase again.
I read on an article that this was suppose to be a dupe for Michael Todd Blue Green Algae toner since it is discontinued. Although the smell is better, it doesn’t compare to the product itself so far. If anything, it’s more drying. Id say the product is ok so far. I need to use it for a month or more to really give it a solid review. I was using Michael Todd toner for 10+ years so I was desperate to see if there was a true comparison. My skin is normal with minor breakouts. I’m prone to white heads but I didn’t see much of an improvement so far.
Hi Hanie! I am not sure what the ingredients are in the MT toner, and I haven't tried it personally, but maybe it had some moisturizers as well? Our Sea Toner is a more of a simple & clean formula that focuses just on the minerals and sea kelp. If you want to try and add some moisturizing ingredients to it to make it a more complex toner, I would recommend adding a few drops of our Hyaluronic Acid serum or even our Niacinamide serum. Both would work great with it. Alternatively, we do also sell just a pure sea kelp gel. Many swear by it, and it's so versatile - you can use it on face, hair and body.
United StatesMy old toner was discontinued. I have oily, sensitive, acne prone, aging skin. This stuff works great, so far so good. It cleans and softens my skin without leaving my skin tight, adding extra oil throughout the day, or irritating my skin. I love that is has aloe as the first ingredient. Will buy again.
