Babyface's Illuminating Cream with coenzyme Q10 helps to reverse the hands of time and regenerate parched, wrinkled, and aged skin. Especially recommended for skin with photo damage from sun exposure.
About This Product
Reverse the hands of time and regenerate parched, wrinkled, and aged skin. Especially effective for skin with photo damage from sun exposure.
This hard working cream fights photo-damage, increases skin illumination, and promotes cell toxin removal. The active ingredient CoQ10 is proven to mitigate light induced cellular damage from indoor and outdoor UV sources plus environmental aging factors.
To maximize results, the collagen building powerhouses Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Matrixyl 3000, and EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor – the active ingredient in Skin Medica TNS Serum) are added to further reduce the visible signs of aging, fine lines, creases and increase skin brightness.
This cream can be used in combination with your favorite serums, or is a complete all-in-one all on it’s own.
More about coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
Repair and Protect – Coenzyme Q10 has rejuvenating, as well as protective effects. As our skin gets older, the fibers that keep the skin firm, collagen and elastin, gradually deteriorate. A gradual decline in the natural production of coenzyme Q10 that occurs with age may also weaken the effectiveness of these fibers. Coenzyme Q10 supplementation may help reduce the breakdown of collagen. The antioxidant effects of coenzyme Q10 may also protect the skin against Intrinsic (genetic) aging, and and extrinsic aging, which is caused by things like sun exposure and lifestyle choices such as smoking.
Speaking of sun exposure …..
Photoaging is the term used to describe skin damage caused by excessive sun exposure. Photoaging is one of the biggest factors in premature aging. Applying coenzyme Q10 prior to going out in the sun may protect your skin from sun damage. Unlike sunscreens, antioxidants like Q10 build up in the skin and may be longer lasting. A study published in 1999 in the journal Biofactors indicates that Q10 has the ability to prevent many of the detrimental effects of photoaging. Signs of photoaging may include skin roughness, blotchiness and fine wrinkles.
Apply evenly to face, neck and decollete, after your serum (if used). Use daily, morning and evening.
